What's Up?
Most people don’t live their purpose because they think the problem is bigger than them or they can’t change it. Instead of focus on changing the circumstance, focus on changing yourself for the better or yet growing into the person they need to be.
It is more easier to accomplish a goal rather than grow into the person you want to be, for example: Buying groceries or buying a car
Buying groceries is pretty simple with a grocery list and money to pay for it. However to learn how to cook, pay attention to details, put the time, effort to create a tasty meal will require you to grow into it.
Buying a car is pretty simply and easy when you have credit and a decent credit score? You fill out some paperwork and BAM! Approved! The bank will take your monthly payments and penalty payments, oops Interest payments. When or if the person cannot make payments, they will repose the car and resale it.
However saving every paycheck will take longer which requires discipline and consistency, which will have you grow into someone who manages money with the right intent. Children are impulsive and make decisions based on emotion for the now. Adults create a plan and follow it.
My advice to you is to be intentional, which means doing something on purpose; deliberately. Be intentional about choosing the right mindset: The Growth mindset, which I will discussed in more detail in the next blog.
“You cannot change you destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight” – Jim Rohn
Intent begins in your heart, focusing on what you can give: your time, treasures, and talents to the world rather than focusing on what you can get.
What is your GPA?
It’s all about your GPA! And no, I’m not talking about your grade point average.
Gratitude: What are 5 things you are grateful for? Write them down and think about them.
Perspective: When you face a problem, what opportunity do you see, hear, or feel? Think about it, you will find it.
Attitude: From 1 to 10, where would your family, friends, colleagues rate your attitude?
Write it down and ask yourself what can you do to improve your attitude?
