The right intent will lead one to grand impact. A great example of this is Dave Ramsey. His story is that he bought millions of dollars in real estate and the bank called the loans. This means “Pay us NOW”. Dave did everything in his power to pay off his debts, however he had to declare bankruptcy.
Dave bounced back like a basketball. He began to teach people at his church about finances, how to get out of debt. Shortly after the Baby Steps were born.
So he created his process of the 7 Baby Steps to teach people a proven system based on biblical principles. The mission is to help the average American to get out of debt, build wealth, and give generously. He has a heart of a teacher and the INTENT to see you become the HERO in your finances, which leads to massive IMPACT. Dave Ramsey is reaching millions of people everyday on The Dave Ramsey Show, where he takes calls and gives advice and encouragement.
Definition of Growth Mindset: The growth mindset is being your best self in every area of your life and you are always open for improvement.
Listen! At 14 years old, I was tragically paralyzed from the waist down because of bacterial spinal meningitis and became bound to a wheelchair. Wow! It felt like a knock out blow from Mike Tyson! Instead of focusing on what I can’t do, I focus on what I can do and how I can do it. I had great mentors like my dad Jean Grandoit and Ken Mumphford who both had a growth mindset. Also, some great books l’ve read like Rich Dad, Poor Dad and the Bible.
I learned how to cope, overcome, and thrive. Now, I am helping people who want to become their best selves. You are the HERO and I love to motivate and teach persons with disabilities to have the growth mindset.
My goal is to add value to the disability community and the world by increasing their GPA!!!
What is your GPA?
It’s all about your GPA! And no, I’m not talking about your grade point average.
Gratitude: What are 5 things you are grateful for? Write them down and think about them.
Perspective: When you face a problem, what opportunity do you see, hear, or feel? Think about it, you will find it.
Attitude: From 1 to 10, where would your family, friends, and colleagues rate your attitude?
Write it down and ask yourself what can you do to improve your attitude?
